Call me Ishmael

Anybody fancy a choccy biccie? That is of course assuming I haven't eaten them all by the time you comment... 

Yesterday I had a rather odd dream. There I was, swimming around, when I realised that I couldn't see very far to either side; everything was cloudy and white. Next thing I know, I'm on a spoon being taken towards a giant mouth! Why, dear readers, was I swimming in (what appeared to be) a bowl of cereal? It makes very little sense... If I'd been swimming in a shrimpy ocean it would have made more sense, cos I love shrimp! Mmmmmmmmm.......shrimp...... *drools* 

Well it's been a busy couple of days in the shop. I've had lots of scanning to do, and there've been lots of interesting people to see. I had to assist on a little girl's passport this morning, though I was a bit confused that her Mum called her Laura, and then called her Ruby! Make your mind up woman - surely at four she's a bit old to be having her name changed! Two lovely ladies came to visit me earlier. It was very nice to meet vicki_c and her friend (and Ellie's) Abi. vicki_c is really rather pretty, and she stroked my tummy which made me a very happy whale! 

I'd better be off - duty calls!

There has been some excitement here in the past few days! Jemma the area manager came down and said that Ellie could clear out the basement, which I think she's been wanting to do for a while! There's been all sorts of interesting stuff coming out I can tell you... There's a big box of yellow torches under my till that have apparently been down there since the late eighties! I believe there may be a plan to give them away with batteries or something... I did take a trip down there yesterday - down to the depths (back to my natural habitat!) It was very strange because I was lost down there for a very long time. I'm glad it's getting cleared out so little whales like me won't be in trouble anymore...

Hello! 

It has been a very boring day here in the shop! Very few people want stuff today apparently - except for passport piccies... It's the folk festival though, so lots of strange people in white came in; I think they might have been dancers of some sort...

Yesterday was better! There was interesting stuff to scan, and I had to help with a little girl's photo. 

I got to have my pictures taken today! Yay! Not that I'm at all vain...
